Hi, I’m Angie – the Angie with the Sold By Angie Team of Ace Realty. Welcome to our website. Back in 1994 (yikes, that was a long time ago!), I had decided to take a leap of faith and become a real estate agent. I am fairly competitive, ok that’s a lie, I am extremely competitive, and I thought real estate was a good way for me to express my driven personality. I love the flexibility and the ability to control my own destiny. And, most importantly, I love helping find the perfect home for my clients, especially that first time homebuyer who realizes the American Dream! I also love using my marketing talents to help sellers tell their home story!

Fast forward to 2013 when Laurie Smith entered the picture. Who would have thought that many years ago when Laurie and I worked together at BankFirst, we would work together again and partner up in real estate! Life sure has a lot of interesting turns and twists. Laurie entered my life again during a time I needed her most as my Mom was terminally ill with cancer and Laurie’s timing could not have been better allowing me to help care for and spend precious time with my Mother in her last year of life.

We have had each other’s backs ever since. Real estate is a 24/7 roller coaster ride of adventure so having two of us allows the other to take a vacation now and then, care for and spend time with family OR just take time for ourselves all while knowing our business doesn’t miss a beat.

We are both very passionate about our profession and volunteer at the local and state level. In fact, I am currently the past President of the 2000 member South Dakota Realtors Association and Laurie is past State Education Chair. We also currently volunteer on our local board, serve on many community boards as well as serving on two organizations very near and dear to our hearts, Laurie with Make A Wish and Angie with the American Cancer Society.
